DPW Director

The Town of Wilton is accepting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of DPW Director.  This position is responsible for the management and operation of the Highway, Cemetery, Parks & Recreation, and Recycling Center divisions.  Duties include maintaining bridges and roads, cemeteries, parks, and managing the Recycling Center.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with major study in Civil Engineering and at least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in areas directly related to highway construction and maintenance, solid waste disposal, and storm water management.  A minimum of 5 years of management and supervisory experience is also required along with a CDL-B driver’s license (CDL-A preferred) and the ability to obtain a NH DES Solid Waste Operator license.  Also need to provide a copy of driving record and have the ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

DPW Worker

The Town of Wilton is accepting applications to fill a DPW Worker position.  This full-time position performs a variety of tasks that involve using tools and equipment for the maintenance and construction trades.  Also required is the operation of plow trucks, dump/sander trucks, loaders, backhoes, and other equipment as necessary.  Tasks include manual labor such as loading and unloading materials, equipment maintenance, digging, shoveling, installing/de-installing tire chains and similar activities.

Minimum requirements include a valid CDL-B driver’s license (Class A preferred), a copy of driving record, ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.  Prefer a minimum of 5 years of road construction/maintenance experience.

PARAMEDICS & AEMTs NEEDED
